Paying for a roof in Conroe
How a Texas hail claim fits, how financing works, and the rules Texas wrote for roofers — followed to the letter.
Insurance
Most roofs in Montgomery County are replaced on a hail or wind claim, and the rules have tightened. Storm damage: we inspect and document for free, you decide whether to file, and if you do we meet the adjuster and build to the approved scope — see how claims work and the claim guide. Deductibles: commonly 1–2 percent of dwelling coverage now; yours to pay, always — Texas §27.02 makes it a crime for us to waive it. Coverage type: RCV, ACV or a roof schedule; we read the declarations page with you so the check isn't a surprise. Class 4 discount: on the wind-and-hail portion of the premium, with the certification we hand you at completion.
What we don't do: waive or rebate deductibles, sign contingency agreements on the porch, act as a public adjuster, or promise a 'free roof.'
Financing
Through our lending partners we offer 12-month same-as-cash promotions and fixed-rate terms up to 10 years, approved before work starts, with no prepayment penalty — useful when the recoverable depreciation or an insurance check is coming later. Approval is a soft-pull application that takes a few minutes; we don't see your credit details.
Payment terms
Written, itemized price good for 30 days. Deposit at signing to order materials (larger for metal, which is cut to your roof), balance on completion. On claim jobs, the ACV check plus your deductible at signing and the depreciation when it's released. Card, check, ACH or financing. Nothing is paid to a crew on the roof.
