Site disclaimer
Background reading for Conroe homeowners, not a verdict on any particular roof.
Revised September 2026. Send questions to hello@conroeroofworks.com.
Everything written on these pages is meant to help people in Conroe and across Montgomery County understand roofing work before they talk to anyone. It is general. Two houses with an identical brown ring on the bedroom ceiling can need entirely different fixes, because shingle age, decking condition, the flashing, the attic ventilation, past hail and the quality of the original install all push the answer in different directions. The only way to find out whether what you have is a repair job, a claim for your insurer, or nothing at all is to have someone walk the roof.
What this website is not
- Not an inspection, an engineering opinion or advice for your specific home. Nothing here has looked at your roof. Treat it as background, not a diagnosis.
- Not a quote. The dollar ranges printed on the service pages and guides describe typical jobs around Conroe, The Woodlands and the surrounding county, for planning. They carry no price guarantee. Pitch, how many layers come off, decking repairs, the materials chosen, access, permit fees and the scope your carrier signs off on all move the number. The price is whatever the written estimate says.
- Not an opinion on your insurance coverage. Whether your insurer pays for wind or hail damage comes down to the policy wording, the deductible and what the adjuster finds. We photograph and document; the carrier decides. The deductible stays yours to pay, as Texas law requires.
- Not a before-and-after record. Photographs here show the sort of conditions and workmanship the text talks about. They aren't presented as documentation of a particular customer's project in Conroe.
- Not a promise about roof lifespan. Weather, attic ventilation, maintenance, overhanging trees and hail decide that. A roof put on correctly gives you the best odds; it can't change the forecast. Whatever warranty applies to your job lives in the contract between you and the contractor doing the work, and any manufacturer warranty has its own terms and registration steps.
- Not the company swinging the hammer. Jobs booked via this site are carried out by independent contractors. The referral disclosure explains the arrangement and how they're paid.
- Not responsible for other people's websites. Where we link out, it's for convenience. We don't control what's on the far end or vouch for its accuracy.
- Not perfect. We keep the pages current, but details shift and errors creep in. If you spot one, tell us and it gets fixed.
- Not a substitute for 911. If water is pouring in, a tree has punched through the roof, there's sparking, or you can smell gas once a storm has passed, don't stop to read a website. Get people clear of the area, kill the power to that section of the house if the panel is safe to reach, and ring 911, or your utility company, about the hazard. Ring us about the roof once that's done.
If any of this leaves you unsure, ask before you decide what to do with your roof. Dial (936) 282-5731, or write to hello@conroeroofworks.com, and you'll hear back from a person.
